At about 10pm, Glenn and I were wrapping presents when I noticed a little 2 year old girl spying from the top of the stairs. Her eyes lit up like it was Christmas morning, then just as quickly were filled with tears when we told her to go back to bed. She ended up waking up with the flu Christmas morning, so I'm glad I did get to see that look of delight on her face, although pre-mature.
Dallin ripped through his presents faster than the tazmanian devil, but since Aubs was so sick he was able to help her with hers, and of course he helped Liam. It was so sad seeing Aubrey just sit there watching the activity. She was able to muster up a quiet, smile-less "yeah" once or twice.
After Aubs ralphing twice we were all able to enjoy some of Glenn's "flat pancakes". They are so good the kids felt they needed to wear their new helmets for protection.
Breakfast wasn't enough use for the new helmets so we decided to head to the park. Aubs got to try out her new scooter.
When we got back to our house our neighbor was out playing with her new tether ball set and Dallin was very happy to join in (even if it did bounce off his head once or twice)
We had a great Christmas this year and loved spending time together. Hopefully next Christmas wont be nearly as hectic and we can relax and enjoy the season a bit more.

Looks like the new place is treating you well. Hopefully we can see it in person soon!
Poor kids getting sick. Wouldnt it be nice if there could be one Christmas season without sickness?
