The Nativity

Every year our Stake does a live Nativity at our building the beginning of December. Glenn has been in charge of the sound for probably about 5 years with Dallin helping him the last few. It is a huge production and turns out really nice every year. This year I got a call asking if my other kids wanted to be in it. Aubrey and Liam were Shepherds and Reese was baby Jesus. They all did so well. There were 2 showings a night and Reese would sleep through the first one and be wide awake for the second one. Everyone was shocked that it was a real baby kicking around in the manger.

Spartan sprint

Glenn had signed himself, Kirk and Dallin all up for a Spartan race just 2 weeks after Reese was born. This was Kirk and Dallin's first time doing a Spartan and they both want to do it again. Dallin had a blast and told me every step he took through the race. I'm so glad he had such a good time. Since this was Glenn's 3rd Spartan (sprint, super & beast) in 2012 he got what they call the "Trifecta" metal. He was really excited for it! Doing these races are so much fun and I'm so glad we are able to start sharing it with our kids. When I asked Dallin was his favorite part about the race was he answered "the mud". He's such a boy!

Aubrey Kate

Aubrey turned 5 just 4 days after I delivered Reese. I knew I would either be very pregnant or freshly recovering from child birth for Aubrey's birthday so I made sure to have everything prepared over a month before...just in case. Honestly, at this point I really don't remember much of that day, so I will let the pictures do the talking.

Aubrey at 5; I love this girl so much! She is so incredibly sweet, but sassy and funny all at the same time. She is always willing to help her brothers out. Or help me with the baby. She loves her siblings so much and tries to hug them as much as they will let her. Her fiesty-ness reminds me a lot of myself when I was younger. She will do crazy-weird things and I know exactly where she's coming from. I can't imagine our house without her, the dynamic would change drastically.
