This may sound lame, but I had a great moment of relief yesterday. I have been somewhat stressing about having a 3rd kid, and wondering how the heck I'm going to do it with Aubs. She has been teething for the last month (4 molars) and I've about had it with whiney children. When my kids teethe I have a hard time remembering how sweet they are, so I've just been picturing my life with 3 kids being out of control & highly stressful. (which it most likely will be)

Yesterday I had my sweet child back for part of the day. The great moment of relief was after I changed her diaper, I handed it to her and told her to throw it in the trash...and she did!!!!!! I know this sounds totally lame, but I realized that in 4 months she will have grown A LOT and that I will totally be able to handle the 3 of them.

I finally have a minute to post pics from last weekend...

We had a blast at Adriane's baby shower. These are my good friends from High School. Great times are always had when we're together.
Dallin's favorite bath toys are his snorkle and goggles.

Shelley and I went to Holly's to see the babies. They are so cute and tiny! And It's sickening how great Holly looks 1 month after a c-section!

We had "Birthday Sunday" at my parents house. Aubs did yack that night, for all those wondering.


These are just some random pictures from yesterday. I'm so glad we have the little backyard that we do. The kids love being outside!

I got my new camera!!!!!

I can not tell you how pumped I have been since my camera came. I hated not being able to take pictures of my kids. Our old camera was super slow, so we upgraded to a super fast one. Dallin's favorite game is "hide from the camera" and I can still get pics of him with this new one. And I can finally capture the precious faces Aubs makes. So here are just a few of the 150+ pictures I took this weekend.

Thoughts

Just in case anyone is anxiously awaiting my next blog, and has been disappointed day after day finding no new post, I thought today would be the day I fill you with happiness. Really, I have nothing that is post worthy, but didn't want to completely abandon my blog so I thought I'd share my thoughts , which may be a bit depressing, so maybe this won't be the day I fill you with happiness.
-My life is insane. I can't quite figure out why my life is so incredibly busy as of late, but it sure is. I like to think it's because I'm constantly following a 15 month old around cleaning up her messes. She enjoys unloading everything, not to play with the items, just to unload.
-I am very saddened by the passing of a woman in our ward. Her daughter is one of my miamaids, and we knew this was coming, however I was not prepared for it this soon. My heart breaks for her and her dad.
-I am uplifted by the attitude of this young woman. She is so positive, and her testimony of how happy her mom now is, and where she is strengthens me.
-I'm ready to have healthy kids, although I don't see that happening in the near future. Aubs has been on steroids for croupe, and as I type, Dallin is barking a croupe cough in the next room. Looks like he'll be getting steroids real soon.
-I'm ready for my husbands summer break, which isn't until June. And before that happens, he will be leaving me for 8 whole days to go to South America.
-I feel like a whale and am gaining way too much weight. But I keep eating excessively.
Happy News!!!
-I have an excuse to be eating excessively.
-My new camera will be here tomorrow! I will be posting mass amounts of pictures shortly after.
-I get to see tons of friends this weekend at one of my good friends baby shower. woohoo!
-Aubs is getting better! Double woohoo!
-Tomorrow is Friday, which means I get to spend the evening with hubby...hopefully!

Quote of the day (yesterday)

During my ultrasound yesterday (it's still a very healthy big boy) Dallin asks:
"what is going to happen to our other baby?"
"what other baby?" I asked
"Aubrey"
"what do you mean, what is going to happen to her?" I asked
"who are we going to give her to when the other baby comes?"

Dallin was so excited when I told him that he gets to keep Aubs AND we get the new baby!


There was also a HILARIOUS quote from last night at dinner, but Glenn won't let me post about it because he wants to be able to tell people in person. So hopefully we will be see you all soon!
