A few things....

I kinda have to play catch up with this post (usually with every post) since this past week was just INSANELY busy. It started monday morning with doing hair, and didn't stop until today around 1:15pm. But I have had a chance to breathe, so now here comes the posting...
First I just have to tell everyone the my almost 3 year old sons favorite new word is "CWAP". Here's how I figured it out;

D: cwap, cwap, cwap, cwap
Me: are you saying clap, clap, clap, clap?
D: no, cwap, cwap, cwap, cwap
Me: yeah, clap, clap, clap, clap!
D: no, cwap, like "Awe cwap!"

I don't know what's worse, the fact that I taught my son to say crap, or the fact that I laugh while telling him that it's a Mommy word, not a Dallin word.

And on to the good example of parenting...Last weekend was the Fathers and Sons outing. Glenn really wanted to take Dallin, but couldn't spare the couple hours of studying he would lose by driving out there. Solution: put up a tent in the backyard.

They took the portable DVD player out there and watched CARS. I could hear Dallin reciting the movie inside the house. I hope it didn't bother the neighbors.
Since then, a night has not gone by without Dallin asking to sleep in the tent. It will be a fun summer!

Random:

Glenn came home late after school Thursday night to find this ginormous RACCOON wandering the complex. I didn't know those existed here.

Happiness:
Holly and I took the kids to CA Adventures on Wednesday. It was a little crowded, but nice to be back to almost the happiest place on earth. (Note: my bicep/arm really is not as large as it looks)

And finally, the joys in my life...

And the countdown begins.... 3 weeks until Glenn's summer break!!!!!

Time flies

Well, it's official, Aubrey is 6 months old! Holy cow! It seems like she was just born yesterday. She is still such an easy, kick back baby & such a joy to have in our family.
Here's an action shot of her, doing what she does best.
Here's Dallin being the great big brother that he is, trying to nurse Aubrey.
My kids are awesome!

All of my loves!

Mother's day seems to be getting better and better the older Dallin gets. He was so excited to come wake me up with my presents, with Glenn following with a delicious breakfast. This was my view while I ate. I have to admit that it was the best view I've ever had while eating breakfast. After church and naps we went to my parents for dinner. It was delicious! Thanks Dad! Here's the reason I get breakfast in bed! I did have a relaxing, wonderful day of rest, which was much needed since I was out late the night prior. Can I just say that I am IN LOVE with Michael Buble! He has the most amazing, soothing voice in the world. My parents took my sisters & I to see him on Saturday night at the pond. (we missed you Brooke, dang Texas) It was such an awesome night. Here's Michael & I when we thought no one was looking! Dang paparazzi! I can't even tell you how great he was. He was totally funny, and his voice was flawless. Here's a little clip from the last song he sang. He didn't have his microphone, and you can hear how powerful his voice is. It filled the Pond with no mic! Breathtaking!!

Thank you so much Mom & Dad!!! It was Amaz-za-zing!

Cool Pool Party

Actually a slip & slide party, but I can't resist quoting Yo Gabba Gabba. Sad, I know. Anywho, the Chubb women & children got together for a fun day. (minus the MA & kids, you were missed!) Sara put on an AWESOME lunch, and AWESOME entertainment. I was just bummed I didn't bring my suit. The kids just couldn't quite figure out how to slide. Here's a video of how we "taught" Dallin.

Here are some other pictures from the event.

Thanks Sara! We had a blast! Can't wait until next week!
