Better late than never, right?

For Halloween this year I wanted our family to have a theme. So, SURPRISE! It was Star Wars. Dallin had a fun school party/parade, we went to the ward trunk or treat, and went trick or treating in my parents neighborhood. Halloween seems to be getting more fun every year.

My cute 4 month

So yes, I know it's been over a month since my last post. I don't want to be one of those kinds of bloggers, but looks like at the present moment, I am. I would like to say that it's because I am way too busy doing so many fun things to keep my kids busy, but frankly it's because I just haven't had the desire. Don't get me wrong, I have been insanely busy trying to manage 3 children running on very little sleep while trying to prepare for a wedding in 10 days, train for a 1/2 marathon, and plan my husband and daughters birthdays. Maybe that's why I haven't had the desire. Too much going on. Life should settle down a bit in a few weeks, or maybe not. We also have 4 moves in my family within the next 2 months (including our move to a 3 bedroom condo!! Hooray Hooray!!!). Okay, so after the holidays things should settle down....hopefully.

Although we are so busy, life has been great. Glenn's doing well in his last year of school. Dallin is loving pre-school and Aubrey is so full of energy. But this post was meant for my 4 month old cute little boy. I'll be honest, he's a screamer. When he's not happy, everyone knows it. But when he's not screaming he's the happiest, cutest smiley little guy ever! I love his chubby little cheeks. His brother and sister love him to pieces and Aubs still tries to feed him everything she's eating and still tries to shove his plug down his throat (she keeps track of where all his plugs are). But she has gotten a lot better and I can even walk out of the room for a minute without fearing for his life. He's super strong and LOVES to play with toys. He has been able to roll from his tummy to back for about a month, but not back to tummy yet. He's quite the talker and loves to use his vocal cords. It's super cute. We love him so much! Happy 4 month birthday tomorrow little man!

Cute video

Glenn started his last year of grad school this past week. I have totally mixed feelings about it. As much as I don't like when Glenn is in school, I am really excited that it is his last year. I am getting used to having 3 kids although I feel there is never any down time and the house is really hard to keep clean. (mostly because of Aubrey following me unloading everything I put away) Well there's really no point to this blog but I did want to post this cute video of Liam.

Another Dallin-ism

It seems like my only blogs are quotes from Dallin, but honestly, they are the easiest and fastest things to record. Soooooo, yesterday I took Dallin to Disneyland. Just mother and son. I made the mistake of taking him on Tower of Terror as our first ride. he didn't like it very much. We moved on to more "Dallin appropriate" rides and I thought he would love Soarin over CA. We get to our seats, he saw the seat belt (very similar to the one on Tower) and FREAKED OUT! I had to ask the worker how to get out. She told me to go back the way we came in. I told Dallin if he didn't calm down we would go home. That made him full on lose it. I would have to say it was the worst tantrum I have ever seen any child throw. He screamed bloody murder the whole way back out and all I could do was giggle. Once on the tram, and once calm, Dallin says "Mommy, I'm really really sorry. I left my manners at home." Now that's my son. The sweet, caring little guy. I do have to say that I take full responsibility for the tantrum. He doesn't throw tantrums, he was just so scared from going on Tower (the ride I had forced him to go on. I know, I know, Mom of the year.)

On a different note, we had our primary program today. It was Dallin's first time being in one. He was the first kid to say his part, which was pretty long for a Sunbeam, but he totally nailed it. He said it slow and clear and into the mic. The primary president told me after that he was the only kid that had memorized his parts. During the intro to one of the songs Dallin took the opportunity to have a solo and start the song 2 measures before the rest of the primary. It was really funny & cute. Everyone busted up laughing. I was told after that he started at the spot they had practiced, but the pianist played 2 extra measures. My smart kid! The rest of church was fun because everyone I walked by would just chuckle and comment on how cute Dallin is. He is such a good kid and I am so grateful to have him as an example for my other kiddos.

2 months!

Liam turned 2 months on the 5th. Here are his stats from his checkup yesterday:
Height: 23 1/2, 75%
Weight: 14lb 8oz, 95%

Yep, he's a big boy. He has become so stinkin smiley, I love it! He was a pretty cranky baby until this past Monday. He totally changed into this super sweet, cute little angel. I guess he overcame his newborn gas or something.

First day of pre-school!

That's right! I have a child old enough to go to pre-school. And I'll be honest I am very excited about it. Yes, I know, I'm a bad mom for not being sad that my baby is going to school, and I'm an even worse mom for forgetting my camera to document this momentous occasion, but at least I know he's doing something productive and not just sitting around watching tv or playing on the computer all day. He did have a great first day but in the car on the way home he said...
"Mommy, I love you and I want you to stay with me at school next time"
I did enjoy hearing that.

Dallinism- yet again

Dallin went with Gia (my mom) to pick Baylee up from school today. My mom takes a few other kids home. One kid, Logan, was playing with Dallin the whole way to his house. When Logan got out of the car Dallin says "Logan is so crappin' funny"

Yep, that's my 4 year old!
