Girl, you'll be a woman soon
(What's she hiding?)After our first High School girlfriends breakfast this morning Aubrey disappeared for a few minutes. Thinking she stole Liam's plug and was hiding upstairs so she could suck on it, I didn't go after her. Minutes later she came walking down the stairs in her panties with a huge smile on her face. After a little investigation I found a maxi pad stuck in her panties. What the?

Good thing she's cute!

This lovely little daughter of mine decided a couple nights ago that at 9:30pm she would climb into her baby brother's crib, strip his pajamas off of him and give him raspberries on his tummy. I had no idea this was going on until I heard giggling coming from the boy's room. Dallin slept through the whole thing.
The next night, low and behold, 9:30pm rolls around and what do I hear? That's right. giggling. Ahhhhhhh!!! What am I going to do with that girl? My parents and Glenn keep reminding me that she's her mother's daughter. That doesn't help.
What's on my mind
Yesterday while I was making dinner Glenn walks in holding Liam out in front of him showing me that he had pretty much exploded! You could see wetness all the way up the front and back of his shirt. He was completely COVERED in poop. When Glenn tried to take his clothes off the poo got all over his forehead and in his hair. It was disgusting! I quickly bathed him and headed back downstairs to finish dinner.
Today at church the same thing happened. Luckily I was in primary helping Dallin with his talk and by the time I made it to Glenn's sunday school class Liam all clean wearing a way too small tank top onesie that looked like an old fashioned bathing suit. He smelled like an outhouse. All the kids were talking about how disgusting it was and smelled. I decided to take him home and give him a bath. On my way back to church he fell asleep in the car so I ditched out of Young Women's today and read my Political Science book.
I am so regretting taking Political Science right now. I don't know what I was thinking trying to get back into school. After I finish with this class I'm going to wait until all my kids are in school to attempt this again. Or at least when Glenn's not in school. By the time I put the kiddos in bed the last thing I want to do is study boring Political Science. I seriously fall asleep every time I crack the book open.
After this week Glenn is officially in his last quarter of school. I can't contain my excitement!!!!! When I get excited he just reminds me of the student loans and that brings me back down real fast.
I am OBSESSING about our upcoming Hawaii vacation. I'm pretty sure I know every square foot of Kauai and I haven't even been there. But the anticipation is what's driving me to the end of school!
I think I gained about 5 lbs today from the delicious muffins I made. Yes they are "healthy" for the most part, but there has definitely been some excessive eating over here today.
And I'm blogging when I should be studying for my test on Tuesday. I'm a procrastinator.

My baby's growing up!
(Dallin hides from the camera so this is the best recent picture I have)I turned in the final paperwork today for Dallin's kindergarten registration. Can you believe it? I have a kid old enough for kindergarten. Then again I am turning 30 this year so I guess it's not that odd to have a kid that old. But where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday they layed my precious little baby with a skin tag on his nose and tumor on his gums in my arms. (that makes me laugh for some reason) Dallin has always been an amazing kid. Obedient, caring, considerate and just well behaved. I couldn't have designed a better 1st kid. He is such a good example to his younger siblings and even his parents. And he is a CRACK UP!!!! Just one conversation with him and you're rolling on the ground. At school on Tuesday they had some firemen visit. When I picked him up and asked how his day was he said
"Mommy, did you know that I know the firemen's phone number?"
Me: "Oh yeah? What is it?"
Dallin: "911"
Since I could picture him calling it I explained that it was only for emergencies.
Dallin:" Yeah, but I can only call it if grandma falls down and breaks her leg"
(note: Dallin doesn't call either grandma "grandma" which I found extra funny about his comment)
Dallin has this passion and excitement for life that is totally admirable. The littlest things make him so happy and he is so gracious and polite.
I am so greatful to have him in our family and to be entertained daily by him. I'm so excited for him to start kindergarten. He has been asking to go since he was barely 3 and the time is soon approaching. He loves learning and talks non-stop about everything he's learning. I just love that kid!

Ladies night
Last night I had the priviledge of hanging out with 7 of my friends from high school. We have pretty much all known each other for more than 14 years. We ate at Islands, then headed to Ralphs to load up on candy and headed to the movie theater to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. It was such an incredible night. We all tend to bring the craziness out of each other and have so much fun. At Ralphs a guy asked if we were a sorority which we were all pretty pumped about considering most of us are turning 30 this year and most of us have kids. I LOVE all these ladies and enjoy every minute spent with them. Hopefully we'll be able to do this again soon.

8 Month-a-roos!!!

This little guy turned 8 months on the 5th of this month. He has pretty much doubled in size within the last couple months. He's HUGE! I love all of his chunky thighs and all of his rolls. He's such a squishy yet solid little guy. He loves to eat! He loves to play with toys & empty out the bucket with all the toy cars in it. His tongue is constantly out of his mouth. Kinda like when a dog is happy they wag their tail, when Liam is happy or thinking he sticks out his tongue. He loves the little puffs snacks. He is in that stage where he wants to be a big kid and do the things his brother and sister do, but he can't do them so he gets frustrated. He has figured out how to sit up from laying down, but doesn't do it regularly. He seems to be super close to crawling. He has 2 bottom teeth and 1 top tooth that just barely broke through. The other is ready to poke through any day. He loves to watch Dallin and Aubrey play and giggles when they let him play with them. Dallin likes to hold Liam and watch TV and Aubrey is constantly hugging and kissing him sweetly. He is such a happy happy baby and we love the sweet spirit he brings to our home.

Fun times
Today was such a fun day and it's not even over yet! The best is yet to come... Taqueria De Anda and yogurtland. Mmmmmmmm.
So Shelley flew in last night and we were all just extatic. I couldn't get the kids to fall asleep until after 9:30 or so because they just wanted to play with Shell. So first thing this morning Dallin whips out his Star Wars action figures and they start battling it out. Good old "Good vs. Evil". But this was a form of battle I had never witnessed before. After the figures would fight there would be a round of "paper, rock, scissors" to see who had won. Dallin came up with those rules all by himself.

After breakfast we headed on down to Disneyland with our first event being a smash! Literally. Aubrey smashed her little ring finger in the bathroom stall door. Since it was bleeding I decided to take a trip to First Aid to get her bandaged up. We walked in, checked in and were the only ones there, other than the nurse, when all of the sudden in walks Minnie, Tigger and Eyore. It was awesome! They spent about 5 minutes with just us. Total VIP treatment. Their guardian lady kept trying to pull them out but they loved how excited the kids were and refused to leave. Seriously, amazing! Aubrey forgot all about her pain, but we still had it cleaned and bandaged by a wonderful nurse that was so sweet to the kids.

And that was the start of a wonderful day at Disneyland. We met up with Holly & the twins, and Adriane, Mike & Jude and were able to watch "Captain EO". I'm so glad that's back, even though they now bounce & shake the seats and it can make you quite ill. But still a fun, feel good attraction. After lunch we were saying our good-byes to the Holly & Adriane clan. While Dallin was giving Holly a hug, Brysen (who Holly was holding) totally barfed all over the whole right side of Dallin's sweatshirt. And it was a big barf too. We all busted up laughing while poor Dallin just stood there frozed holding back his own gag-reflex. He handled it like a champ.

After Dallin was cleaned up he was priveledged enought to ride Space Mountain for the first time. He LOVED it! And Aubs new favorite ride is Autopia.
We had such a good time! We left Shell there with a friend of hers from Utah that we ran into, but I'm on my way to pick her up & get some good grub. I love when Shelley's down.

alright alright, here they are
I finally decided to upload my pics. Here they are...
Dallin played basketball for the city league. He had his last game on Saturday. He loved playing and we loved watching. It was hilarious. The kids would grab the ball and charge down the court carrying it like a football. No dribbling necessary, apparently. It was so entertaining and I'm kinda bummed it's over. Next sport... soccer.

So we had a bad case of the flu hit our family a couple weeks ago. It was horrible. Fever, barfing, coughing, congestion...the WHOLE shebang. It lasted with Aubrey for about a week. I was really bummed when it hit Liam. It was really sad seeing him so sick but he handled it like a champ. You could tell he didn't feel well, but was still just the happiest baby. These pics were taken during one of his many, many baths while he was sick. He's just too cute!

Last week Dallin was in charge of the Family Home Evening lesson. He did it all by himself and we were super impressed. He would ask us a question and when we'd give an answer he would point and say "right!" I can't believe how grown up he's getting. It's sad & exciting at the same time.

And last night for FHE we learned about Daniel in the Lions Den. The kids loved it.

A couple weeks ago after getting our FHE treat...

Dallin ate the stick to his Valentines Fun Dip, what ever could he do? The smart kid that he is grabs a baby carrot and uses that as his stick. I thought it was pretty clever.

And now I am caught up on blogging. Hopefully I can stay that way!

Reality TV
I am not ashamed to admit that I thoroughly enjoy reality tv. I have had to cut back on quite a few shows since I am taking a college course and need that time when the kiddos are sacked out to study. The 2 that I have kept are The Bachelor and The Biggest Loser. Although I am very happy that the Bachelor ended tonight, I can't believe how it ended! All I have to say is "Jake you are an IDIOT!!!!!"
That's all.
That's all.
