Alexander returns home!

Immediately after Dallin and I got home from his field trip we jumped in the car and headed for Utah in hopes of making it to the airport to see Alexander get off the plane from his 2 year mission in El Salvador. Well, due to traffic we missed it by 45 minutes. But we headed straight to the Wolsleger's house to see him. We got there at about 12:30am and hung out with them for about an hour. It's been so great seeing Alexander and hearing stories from his mission. It's crazy how much he has grown up.

San Juan Capistrano Mission

I I was able to go on Dallin's 4th grade field trip as a chaperone to the San Juan Capistrano Mission. I just have to say that this was my favorite field trip to date with my kids. Maybe it was because the kids are older and not as obnoxious or just that is was a great trip but I really enjoyed myself. We took a train down, which was mine and Dallin's first time on a train. Before we left Dallin said "So Mommy, maybe you could sit with your friends on the train and I can sit with mine." And that's exactly what we did on the way there. But I did get to sit by Dallin on the way home which I loved.

Valentine's Day '15

For Valentines Day this year we decided to throw a party. We put up black lights in the cultural hall and Glenn busted out his DJ equipment and had a glow in the dark dinner & dance party. There were about 36 adults and 40+ kids there. It was a blast and I hope it turns into an annual event.

Little league opening day

Today was little leagues opening day. Aubrey had a game also so I "let" Glenn take the boys. (It's not my favorite day of the season). I just love my little (and not so little) guys in their uniforms.

Softball opening day

On 2/14/15 we had opening day for softball. It was just Aubs and I. We left the others at home. (And the boys had baseball practice) it was really fun spending time with her and spoiling her a bit.
I made the banner for this team. I thought it was pretty cool, although it didn't win the competition. (We totally got robbed)

Liam's growing up

A few days ago Liam at age 5 1/2 discovered that he had 2 loose teeth. His response to this discovery was "well, I guess I'm done sucking my thumb". And he totally is done. When I asked him about it this morning he said "yep! In growing up. I'm not sucking my thumb anymore and I'm not scared to go upstairs by myself anymore. Yep!" He's just so proud of himself.

Sleep walking

Yesterday Dallin, at 9 1/2 years old, woke up in the bath tub with his blanket. All I know is that he was in his bed around midnight. Don't know how that happened, but unfortunately I think he takes after me a bit.
