A day at the Fair?

Blythe and I had been planning on taking the kids to the LA County Fair for over a week. Well, yesterday was the day. We packed lunches, put ALL the car seats in one car, and headed out. While on the freeway, we looked at the car thermometer which read 101 degrees. HECK NO! We turned around and headed back. What is up with it being triple digits? It's the end of September for goodness sakes! Instead of sweltering in the heat, we took the kids to get ice cream and play in the "orange fountain" (not to be mistaken for the swimming kind of fountain in previous post) It turned out to be great! The kids had a blast, we kicked it in the shade, and great naps were had by all afterwards.





I had to put that big, cheesy, toothy, double chin picture of Aubs in. Scary how much that picture resembles her mom. hehe
