On Labor Day weekend we, of course, headed up to the cabin. This time we took the kids on the Alpine Slides. They had a blast! We also took them to the Big Bear Zoo, which was really cool. They had grizzly bears, black bears, different kinds of owls, bald eagles, mountain lions, coyotes, and tons of other kinds of animals. I really enjoyed this zoo, especially because it's kinda small but you get to see some really cool animals that you would not otherwise get to see. We also hit up a quilt show up there. (Not sure we'd do that again) But we had a great relaxing weekend with beautiful weather. I really love being able to go up there. I always come back so refreshed.
