President's Day

For President's Day weekend we headed up to Papa's cabin (surprised?). When we got up there on Friday there was very little snow on the ground. It started snowing about an hour after we got there and dumped about a foot of snow. The next night we got another foot. It was awesome! We went for a walk in the mountains while it was snowing before it stuck and the kids were in heaven (so was I). We made a slide to sled down that was super fast & fun. Liam and Aubrey's favorite part of the weekend was eating snow and sucking on icicles. The Ormonds came up for a night and we had a great time with them too. Enjoy the pictures, and just so you don't get confused, yes Liam is wearing pink. And yes that is Glenn's HIDEOUS Scandinavian sweater that I just love so much. I know I say this every time I post about the cabin, but I seriously love going up there. It's so peaceful and so nice to have a getaway so close to home.

That snow is incredible! When we were up there, we couldn't find anywhere decent to sled, and some of our friends ended up scraping up their arms on the road at the bottom of the only hill we could find, haha.
