I just have to do a quick post to say that tonight was my favorite night EVER on American Idol. Not because of the contestants, but because Neil Diamond was the mentor. I grew up listening to him, and my kids will grow up listening to him. He is my American Idol.

ha ha ha ha! ha ha! I love Neil! Dude, only you will appreciate the hilarity of this story: So, last night after Lisa and I watched AI, I went into the bathroom to well...poo. So Lisa comes in cuz she was asking me something, which of course is totall y normal because we see each other on the toilet daily. Anyway, I jokingly said that someone should have sang "Shilo"- (joke because it is totally a fun song to sing, but majorly lame, espeically because I hate dogs) So, Lisa says she's never heard it so I try to sing it for her on the toilet and then I said, "Go get my i pod off the table." So she brings it in and picture this: Me sitting on the toilet holding my i pod with one of the earphones in my ear and then the other earpiece in Lisa's ear as she hunches over a little by the toilet so we can both listen to "Shilo"- Well apparently we both didn't mind this position because we stayed in it for two more songs and were totally singing and dancing to "Cracklin' Rosie" It didn't phase us but we laughed at what kind of reaction others might have if they saw this picture.
Yeah, I've been waiting for years for them to do a Neil night. It was AWESOME!
