Big Bear Lake

Our big waterski trip for the summer was up the mountain to Big Bear Lake. We figured we would save a bit of money this year and just stay at Papa's cabin. It was our first time taking the boat and wave runners on Big Bear Lake and can I just say that it is now my favorite lake. It was gorgeous! It reminded me of some scandinavian country where it's just beautiful and green with houses right on the lake. I could have stayed out there forever. We took the boat out on a Saturday, which was kind of crazy, then again on Monday, which was perfect. When the water started getting rough on Monday we headed back to the cabin. Right before dinner we decided we wanted to head back out for an evening run. We were there in 5 minutes and ready to go in 10. It was so convenient and I'm sure we will be doing a lot more of that in the future.
