Dallin got another black eye. Now don't go calling CPS on me. It was actually my mom that gave him this one. Dallin was running through her kitchen just as my mom pulled out this heavy duty bowl and it hit him right in the eye. It was really sad, actually. I was worried that he'd need stitches, but we just butterflied it and it was fine. It seems that he gets a black eye every time I try to schedule family pictures. Who knows if we will ever get them done.
Dallin is still enjoying baseball and we are still enjoying going to his games. Except Saturdays game, it was really hot out. But right now he's at practice and I stayed home with the little kids because it's super cold out. Can I just say "earthquake weather!" I sure hope not, but mother nature needs to make up her mind. It's in the high 90's one day, then high 60's the next. Craziness.
Training for the half marathon is going really well. I'm excited for this one because I think I will be really prepared for it so I can hopefully get a decent time. I have such a good time running with the ladies in our running group. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is waking up so darn early. But once I'm done with a run it feels great to be up. On Saturdays run I asked my running buddies for input on my talk that I had to give yesterday. They are such amazing women and gave me such great incite that I based my talk on their comments. But more on that later.
For now, I need to get dinner made before some hungry boys come through the door.
