And back to the post... I kill things. Everything from flowers to fish (our 2 fish have recently passed. RIP Perry and Dorothy). Luckily, I have managed to keep my children alive. When we decided to plant cherry tomatoes and basil in the middle of winter, I thought they had no hope. Well the basil didn't last long, but the cherry tomato plant is HUGE and producing SO many delicious tomatoes.
Look at that beauty! That was our first ripe tomato. It's big for a cherry tomato. I can't wait to have a big backyard so we can plant all kinds of things.
We have the most beautiful rose bushes around our place and they are in full bloom. While Aubs was sleeping the other day I took Dallin around to pick some. I love having fresh flowers in my house, and I'm too cheap to buy something that only lasts a few days.
But I do have to say, the BEST thing about springtime is that Glenn only has 4 more weeks of his 2nd year of Grad school!!!! Woohoo! Next year will fly by!

That's so funny. I remember you bringing me roses from your complex when I was in the hospital last year around this time. You told me you got them one day and they cut them all back the next. Thanks again for all the service you provided me & my family last Spring. Glad to hear your current Spring is going well.
PS - The tomoatoes are beautiful!
